Oil and gas company MOL was up 1.89% at HUF 25,115 on a turnover of HUF 455 million; OTP Bank was up 0.80% at HUF 6,169 on an exchange-high turnover of HUF 2 billion; Magyar Telekom was up 0.49% at HUF 612 on a turnover of HUF 393 million; Drug company Richter was up 0.27% at HUF 36,700 on a turnover of HUF 198 million.
Major European blue-chip stock indices were in positive territory at midday, with London's FTSE-100 up 0.15% and Frankfurt's Xetra DAX up 0.40%.
The BUX's central and eastern European high-cap peer indices were mixed at noon, with Prague's PX-50 down 0.11% and Warsaw's WIG-20 up 0.20%.
