Broadband rises to 1.8 million, landline falls to 3 million

The number of broadband ADSL and cable subscriptions rose 17,000 in February to 1.802 million in Hungary. The number of landline telephone connections in Hungary fell to 3.04 million in February from 3.055 million in January, the National Telecommunications Authority (NHH) said on Monday.

The number of broadband ADSL lines grew to 811,000 in February. The number of broadband cable subscriptions rose around 15,000 to 991,000 in February, NHH said.

The number of land line per hundred people slipped to 30.37% from 30.51% one month earlier. Total duration of calls initiated was 461 million minutes in February compared to 502 million minutes in January. (MTI-ECONEWS)
