The 2010 budget bill, submitted by the government to Parliament on Friday, lowers the value threshold for some so-called “general simple public procurements“, allowing the procurement type to be used in more procedures, the text of the bill shows.
The bill would lower the value threshold for purchases of goods in general simple public procurements from HUF 30 million to HUF 8 million. The threshold for building investments would fall from HUF 90 million to HUF 15 million and the threshold for procurements of services would drop from HUF 25 million to HUF 8 million. The threshold for building and service concessions would remain unchanged at HUF 100 million and HUF 25 million, respectively.
The thresholds for “extraordinary simple public procurements” would also remain unchanged at HUF 50 million for purchases of goods and services and at HUF 100 million for building investments. (MTI-ECONEWS)
