A new HUF 1.1 billion (€3.87 million) vocational-training center will be opened in Budapest next year, chief project manager János Jakab told MTI on Monday.
Jakab said that the KÉSZ Építő construction company would begin remodeling a 5,100-square-meter building to house the new training center at the beginning of next month, noting that instruction in electronics, transportation and mechanics would begin in September 2011.
The Budapest local council will contribute HUF 250 million in support for the training center, while the European Union will fund the remainder of the project.
The institution will be part of a network of regional vocational training centers. (MTI-ECONEWS)
