A HUF 340 million visitors centre is being built on the shores of a small lake in the Tihany peninsula on Lake Balaton, director of the Balaton Highlands National Park Laszlo Balogh told MTI on Wednesday.
European Union funding is supporting 85% of the cost of the project and the rest is coming from the Rural Development Ministry, Balogh said.
The 650-sqm visitors centre will have three interactive exhibitions and a space for presentations with capacity for a hundred people. It is to be completed by April 2011. (MTI – Econews)
