Give a Hungarian a choice between spending a lot on high-quality consumer electronics and household appliances or high-quality clothing and almost twice as many will pay more for the electronics and appliances, survey data compiled by market research company Tárki show.
Survey data show that 27% of Hungarian are ready to pay more for high-quality consumer electronics and household appliances, while just 19% are "price sensitive". When it comes to high-quality clothing, just 15% of Hungarians are ready to pay the higher price, while 35% will buy the cheapest item.
If Hungarians think fruit and vegetables are overpriced, 57% will buy something cheaper, while only 20% will pay the premium for the best produce. (MTI-ECONEWS)
