ZTE starts selling handsets in Hungary

Chinese telecommunications equipment maker ZTE has started selling handsets in Hungary, the company said at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

ZTE is selling its smartphones through T-Mobile, but it is in talks with other service providers, too.

There are about 1.7 million smartphones on the Hungarian market now, but every other handset is expected to be a smartphone by 2015.

ZTE has been present on the Hungarian telephone market since the end of 2007. It also sells mobile network equipment and data cards. (MTI-ECONEWS)
