Hungarian meat company Zimbo Perbál Húsipari Termelő expects revenue to rise 20% to more than HUF 7 billion managing director Attila Horváth told MTI on Thursday.
Last year the company's revenue rose 5-6% to HUF 6 billion Horváth said.
Zimbo has started making more upper-middle category products, he said. Exports are growing and are expected to generate 25% of revenue this year, he added.
Zimbo wants to raise its presence in neighboring countries, especially in Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Horváth said. The company aims to boost exports an annual 30-35% in the coming years and plans acquisitions, he added, though declining to go into detail.
