Hungarian logistics company World-Transit on Thursday ceremoniously launched a HUF 204 million capacity expansion at its base in Mándok (NE Hungary).
World-Transit will lay asphalt on about 7,600 square meters of its base as well as renovate warehouses.
The company won a HUF 102 million grant for the investment from the Economic Operative Program, a framework for paying out European Union funding.
World-Transit has made more than HUF 430 million of investments over the past several years. EU grants covered HUF 215 million of the costs.
World-Transit had net revenue of HUF 2.1 billion in 2010, up from HUF 340 million in 2009, managing director István Szabó told MTI.
