Construction on a motorway bridge on the outskirts of Budapest will start next Monday and will be completed June 30, 2012, the national infrastructure development company NIF announced.
The bridge on the M0 ring road around Budapest over the Danube at Soroksár is part of a HUF 34 billion development for an 11-kilometer stretch that includes 3 junctions and 10 other objects besides the bridge. The consortium building the motorway section comprises A-Híd Építő, KÖZGÉP, STRABAG-MML, Magyar Aszfalt, and COLAS Hungaria.
NIF will also expand the stretch of M0 connecting the M1 and M5 motorways to three lanes. (MTI – Econews)
