VT KEP Kft, a Videoton-owned assembly company based in Marcali (SW Hungary), is supplying battery packs to Japanese companies such as Sanyo and FKD Corporation, business development CEO Mihály Tunkli told MTI.
Tunkli said the company had revenue of HUF 800 million last year.
The products are used in garden equipment, hand-tools, cordless telephones and electric bicycles.
The plant was set up by Videoton in 2008 based on an earlier clothing factory and employs 200 workers.
