Two companies have won contracts for the upkeep of overhead lines along almost 7,000 kilometres of state-owned railway company MÁV's tracks with bids of a combined HUF 9.6bn, the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette shows.

BSS 2000 won the contract for upkeep of overhead lines on 2,177km of track in the north of the country with a bid of HUF 2.52bn. Vasútvill won contracts for upkeep of the lines on 2,508km of track in the east of the country and 2,279km in the west with bids of HUF 4.0bn and HUF 3.13bn, respectively.
