The delicious, delectable curd-based dessert Pöttyös Túró Rudi is the strongest brand name in Hungary, the business weekly Figyelő reported in its most recent edition.
The weekly cited the results of a representative survey carried out by B&P Braun & Partners and GfK Hungaria.
Túró Rudi is followed by Coca-Cola, Danone, Hungarian commercial-television channels RTL Klub and TV2, and chainstore Tesco. The strongest auto brand is Suzuki, while Nokia leads the IT list and OTP Bank leads the financing sector.
The list includes 25 companies from the TNS Media Intelligence ranking of the 50 companies that have spent the most on media coverage in 2009. Sixteen Hungarian businesses were later added to that list. (MTI – Econews)
