Hungarian property developer TriGranit has completed a €350 million shopping and entertainment centre in Zagreb, CEO Árpád Török said at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
TriGranit financed €250 million of the cost of the project, called Arena Center, and the renters put up the rest.
Contracts have been signed for 95% of the centre's 60,000sqm of rentable space. About one-fifth of the some 200 renters are entering the Croatian market for the first time.
TriGranit chairman Sándor Demján said the company plans a total of €1 billion investments at the site. TriGranit earlier built a sports hall there and it plans to expand the shopping centre. In the third phase of the project, the company will build 400,000sqm of office and residential space, and in the fourth phase it will build a congress centre. (MTI Econews)
