Transport authority finds shortfalls among 25-30% of lorries

Hungary's National Transport Authority (NKH) found shortfalls with 25-30% of the 1m haulage vehicles it checked last year, NKH official Robert Mikulás said at a press conference on Tuesday.

The most frequent problem found was drivers driving longer than allowed without rest, Mikulás said. The authority also found technical shortfalls of vehicles during the checks, he added.
