Thousand-plus enroll in Audi vocational program

Nearly a hundred students will complete their vocational courses at Audi Hungaria Motor this month and more than 150 will start their training soon, bringing the number of people trained at the unit of German carmaker Audi to more than a thousand since a dual education program started at the unit's base in Győr (NW Hungary) in 2001, Audi Hungaria said on Friday.

Of the most recent graduates of the program, 65 will start working for Audi Hungaria in the summer and the other twelve will continue their studies.

"Our experienced workers train our students, thus we can ensure our demand for professionals is met," said HR director Richard Rozman.

The program includes eleven vocations at present, among them auto mechanic, electrician and toolmaker.
