The third open tender to sell Piszke Papír's factory has been declared unsuccessful as no bids were submitted for the company, which has been under liquidation since March 2009, the business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Thursday, quoting András Ecsedi of liquidator AFI Vagyonkezelő.
The paper factory, owned by the Greek Zeritis group, was first offered for sale by the liquidator in November 2009 and then again in March and April this year.
The offer price of HUF 5.2 billion (€18.78 million) was reduced to HUF 4.2 billion in the third tender, which still elicited no bids. Bids were only submitted for certain assets not directly related to production. (MTI-ECONEWS)
