A tender for the sale of the Count Apponyi Palace Hotel in SW Hungary has been declared unsuccessful because the offer was well under the asking price, Tamás Vidó of liquidator Dr Felső Vállalkozásszervező és Csődtanácsadó told MTI on Thursday.
An offer of HUF 850 million was made for the 6,649-square-metre palace which stands on a 5.5-hectare grounds, Vidó said. The asking price was HUF 1.8 billion, he added.
Offers are being accepted for the hotel in a new tender until January 20, 2011. This time, the asking price is HUF 1.6 billion. (MTI-ECONEWS)
