International innovation fair GinnT Expo presented the future technologies of the commercial sector last week. Throughout the three days of the expo, more than 4,000 visitors came to see the new interactive solutions and the developments of the supply chains.
As part of the exhibition, manufacturers and service providers presented their latest technologies at the Future Supply Chain demo. Visitors could go through a realistic supply chain and personally experience the way of the products from the development phase on to the moment where they're bought at the shop. The 150-square-meter stand featured 14 already operating innovative solutions like MasterPrints professional signing device, the RFID-gate from Vonalkód Rendszerház, the automatic cashier machine from Szintézis and mobile payment solutions from Alt Cash and Cellum. GS1 Magyarország supported the whole process by the application of standards and protocols.
The most innovative solution presented by a Hungarian company was awarded Nokia's Innovation Prize. This year, the award went to Smart ID Technologies Kft and QID Solutions Kft for their smartAPPAREL solution: an RFID-based system that is capable of optimizing stock, fastening product search, keeping track of shippings and making the system more secure for companies in the apparel business.
