Synergon to sell Voyence in Hungary, Czech Republic

Synergon Rt, the biggest independent Hungarian computer services company, signed a contract with Voyence Inc. to sell the U.S. company's software in Hungary, Croatia and the Czech Republic.

Synergon will sell and install Voyence's network configuration software, the Budapest-based company said in a stock exchange statement today. Synergon has been hurt by a slowdown in government spending in Hungary and the Czech Republic, its biggest markets. It named board member Zoltán Radnóty chief executive officer on March 3, replacing former CEO Lóránt Száray, and saying it wants to focus on expansion in the region. Synergon's shares were unchanged at 629 forint as of 11:31 a.m. in Budapest. They have gained 25 % this year.
