Austria's SW Umwelttechnik, a maker of environmental technology and infrastructure, had revenue in Hungary of €58.2 million in 2005, 9% more than in the previous year, according to the company's preliminary earnings report for the period published on Tuesday. The company operates in Austria and Romania, but its operations in Hungary accounted for 64% of its total revenue in 2005. SW Umwelttechnik invested €8.16 million at its operations in Hungary in 2005, more than 75% of investments at all of its operations. Most of the money went toward expanding capacity at the company's plant in Budapest. The company employs 556 people in Hungary.
