Sinergy said it is modifying at a cost of €1.6 million a furnace for Hungarian chemicals company BorsodChemthat will burn hydrogen, a byproduct of BorsodChem's production, to make energy for the plant in Kazincbarcika.
The modification furnace, to be completed by the autumn, is to reduce BorsodChem's gas consumption by about 12 million cubic meters while cutting the plant's CO2 emissions by 23,000 tons annually, BorsodChem said. (MTI – Econews)
