Samsung Electronics Hungary today announced the distribution of new notebook lines targeting business consumers. The move is in line with the company's strategy to reposition itself as a major IT vendor.
Samsung Electronics Hungary's market share of IT products has been stable around 13-14% in the consumer segment, but now it would like to add more of retail in its portfolio, targeting mainly business consumers, Pál Szabó, general manager of the IT branch said at a press conference.
The notebook product line will include business notebooks in Series 2,4 and 6, the price of which will naturally position Samsung in a higher category. Besides notebooks, Samsung also has a full range of products in the business line, including printers and cloud services.
