State, company and local officials on Thursday inaugurated a HUF 214 million roundabout near German car maker Audi's plant in the Hungarian city of Győr.
The roundabout will allow 3,000 vehicles per hour to pass through the junction on the number 1 main road, up from 2,000 earlier.
The state contributed HUF 150 million to the cost of the roundabout, Audi paid more than HUF 72 million and the local council put up about HUF 50 million.
Minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office Csaba Molnár, managing director of Audi Hungária Thomas Faustmann and Győr mayor Zsolt Borkai all spoke at the inauguration. (MTI-ECONEWS)
