The Hungarian unit of Japanese office equipment maker Ricoh expects to close its business year ending March 31 with revenues of HUF 2.23 billion, up 3.9% from the 2009/2010 business year, the company’s head of business development Istvan Toth said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Two-thirds of revenue, calculated with GAAP, comes from direct sales, Toth said. In the business year starting April 1, Ricoh Hungary projects revenue growth of about 12%, boosted mainly by an expansion of services, he said.
Ricoh Hungary's market shares are about 10% on average in the company’s various market segments, said managing director Otto Berczi. The company aims to raise the ratio, especially in the services segment, and will add ten staff this year to support the goal, he added. Ricoh Hungary has 80 employees and 20 resellers. (Econews)
