Reál removes tainted Pick products from shelves

Hungarian supermarket chain Reál Hungária has removed house brand sandwich meat made by Pick Szeged, Hungary's biggest meat company, from its shelves after finding high levels of the bacteria listeria in it, Reál marketing director Attila Linczmayer told MTI on Tuesday.

The bacteria was found in 150g sliced "Reál Párizsi" and 100g sliced "Reál Sonka".

Pick Szeged said it would make an announcement on the matter later. (MTI-ECONEWS)
