R-Glass Hungary's glass-jar factory in Salgótarján (NE Hungary) is being offered for sale for the fifth time, liquidator Miklós Balázs told MTI on Friday.
Balázs said that if the fifth attempt to sell the factory is unsuccessful, he will initiate a meeting with creditors to discuss the possibility of selling the factory's stocks and movable machinery separately.
The plant is being offered for HUF 720 million. R-Glass has liabilities of HUF 2 billion.
R-Glass, based in Lutenec, Slovakia, bought the plant in 2006, also in a liquidation sale.
The plant is still operating, at present working on a French export order, although the number of its permanent employees fell to 12 from 277 in 2006. (MTI-Econews)
