QSCH, a unit of Switzerland's Adval Tech, is spending HUF 1 billion to outfit its production line for next-generation BMV parts, managing director Bernd Kunze said at a press conference at the company's base in Szekszárd.
The investment will be carried out in several phases, Kunze said. The construction of a 5,000 sqm production hall, to be inaugurated in November, is the first step, he added.
Adval Tech has won a big order to deliver twelve kinds of parts for next-generation BMW 1- and 3-series models. Its plant in Hungary has already started making three of the parts after installing a 650-ton plastic injection molding system.
QSCH will hire 50 more people when the first phase of the investment is completed, bringing headcount to 250. In 5-8 years, it plans to add 500 more staff. The company wants to expand the area of its manufacturing base to about 20,000 sqm in 3-6 years.
QSCH had sales revenue of €12 million last year. (MTI – Econews)
