ProLogis, a global supplier of distribution facilities, announced today that it has leased 5,400 square meters of space at ProLogis Park Nadarzyn in Poland to Dorum GP, a company belonging to the Dorum group, which specializes in shipping, logistics and customs services.
In its new distribution center, Dorum GP plans to create warehouse space for its strategic clients and provide an option of customs service in a simplified fiscal procedure. “This transaction confirms a universal truth known to all logistics specialists – it is the facility’s location and quality that matter the most,”said Kris Pauwels, vice president for development at ProLogis in Poland. “The ProLogis distribution park in Nadarzyn is one of the few class-A warehouse complexes located along Warsaw’s main traffic route. For companies such as Dorum GP this is of particular importance, as it enables the minimization of costs associated with shipping and logistics activities in central Poland.” ProLogis Park Nadarzyn is located directly by the international route E67 connecting Wrocław and Białystok, 25 kilometers south-west from the Warsaw city centre and 15 kilometers from the Okęcie international airport. The park consists of four modules with the total warehouse and office space of approximately 63,000 square meters. ProLogis was represented by CB Richard Ellis for this transaction. Other customers of ProLogis Park Nadarzyn include ArchiDoc, C.Hartwig Gdynia, Hellman Worldwide Logistics and Toya. The ProLogis portfolio in the Warsaw area includes nine distribution parks comprising 39 buildings with a total space of more than 760,000 square meters. (press release)
