Porsche Hungária, which imports Volkswagen brands to Hungary, has opened a HUF 2 billion ($8.8 million) salon in Budapest’s District XI, Nagy Szabolcs, managing director of Porsche Inter-Auto, which operates Porsche Hungária’s six dealerships, told MTI.
Porsche Inter-Auto sold 6,600 new cars and 3,100 used cars in the 2008 calendar year. The company closed its business year ended March 31 with revenue of HUF 43 billion, level with the previous year.
This year, the company expects sales to fall no more than 20-25%, less than the contraction on the market as a whole, because companies make up a bigger than average proportion of its clients, Szabolcs said. (MTI-Econews)
