Public service company PlakáTrend Kht, set up by the Hungarian Public Area Advertising Association (MKRSz), is launching a joint campaign with municipalities to remove illegal advertising instruments from the streets of Budapest, the MKRSz announced. The current proliferation of unauthorized ads is detrimental to both the cityscape and the prestige of the advertising industry, the statement said.
Under the construction law, local councils must approve ads in public areas.
