Pick Szeged, Hungary's biggest meat company, is setting its sights on South Korea and the Philippines after entering markets in Japan and Hong Kong, CEO László Kovács told MTI.
Pick Szeged signed a long-term contract with Japanese partners that boosts its exports to the country by more than 100 tonnes over existing orders at the end of April, Kovács said. All of the products covered under the contract are newly developed, he added.
Pick Szeged has had a representative office in Tokyo for three years, and it opened an office in Hong Kong last year, he said. The company has good contacts in Singapore and Pick Szeged products could soon be sold in shops in South Korea and the Philippines, he added.
