Hungarian printing company Palatia Nyomda es Kiadó has expanded its offset printing capacity with a €900,000 investment, managing director József Radek told MTI on Monday.
European Union funding covered 30% of the cost of the investment, Radek said.
The company hired eight more staff to operate the new capacity, bringing headcount to 60.
Palatia had after-tax profit of HUF 40 million on revenue of HUF 950 million in 2010. This year, the company aims to bring revenue over HUF 1 billion.
Palatia, based in Győr (NW Hungary), plans to open an office in Austria to drum up business there. Austrian orders accounted for more than 10% of turnover in 2010, up from 6-7% a year earlier. (MTI-Econews)
