German car-marker Opel will hire 210 more workers at its new, €500m assembly plant set to begin production in the town of Szentgotthard (W Hungary) this year, factory director Tamas Solt announced on Wednesday.
Opel plans start producing four-cylinder 1.6l petrol engines at the 30,000-square-meter plant in December.
The company has already hired 180 people to work at the plant, which is eventually expected to employ 800 workers.
