Opel Magyarország expects vehicle sales in Hungary to climb 10%-15% this year

Opel Magyarország expects Hungary's vehicle market to expand by 10%-15% this year following a 26% contraction in 2010, company CEO Tamás Kovács said.

Kovács added that Opel expects its market share to climb slightly to 11% in 2011 from 10.5% in 2010, when the company sold 5,051 new vehicles in Hungary.

Opel commanded the second-highest share of Hungary's vehicle market in 2010.

The Opel CEO noted that the percentage of business clients among new-vehicle buyers in Hungary climbed to 71% in 2010 from 45% two years earlier. (MTI – Econews)
