The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose 51,000 in July to 1,088,000, the National Media and Telecommunications Agency (NMHH) told MTI on Thursday.
The number of active mobile internet subscribers -- those who used the service at some time during the previous three months-- climbed 42,000 from a month earlier to 851,000 at the end of July.
Mobile internet subscribers transferred 1,180,000 gigabytes of data in July, up from 1,121,000 in June.
Vodafone's market share in terms of subscriber numbers rose to 24.19% in July from 24.12% in June and Telenor's market share grew to 28.01% in July from 27.02% in June, while T-Mobile's dropped to 47.80% in July from 48.86% in June.
Data turnover per subscriber of Telenor fell to 1.55 gigabytes from 1.59 gigabytes in June, turnover per susbcriber at Vodafone fell to 1.56 gigabytes from 1.57 but rose to 1.21 from 1.19 gigabytes for T-Mobile. (MTI-ECONEWS)
