The number of active mobile phone subscriptions -- those who have made or received calls or sent text messages in the previous three months -- rose 16,000 to 10,660,000 in July, the latest figures from Hungary’s National Communications Authority (NHH) show.
The total number of mobile phone subscriptions fell to 11,888,000 in July from 11,889,000 in June, but rose 287,000 from twelve months earlier. The number of active subscribers rose 324,000 from twelve months earlier.
The number of mobile phone subscriptions per hundred people was 118.6% in July, up from 115.5% twelve months earlier.
Of the active mobile phone subscribers, T-Mobile had a 44.59% share, up from 44.53% in June, while Vodafone's share rose to 21.91% from 21.88% and Pannon's share fell to 33.51% from 33.59%. (MTI – Econews)
