Expecting further increase of demand for cost effective solutions from the business sector, and based on its international success, Nokia Siemens Networks starts its new Managed Services in Hungary as well.
Managed Services that include network management, remote assistance, optimization of operational systems or application management at any network, be it mobile or fixed line, voice or IP-based, is a popular service of the company worldwide. Nokia Siemens Networks have over 200 partners that use the service, with 19 of them contracted in 2009. In Hungary, NSN has all of the telecommunication service providers among its clients, but it has also state orders to deploy data networks.
NSN also works on an EU-subsidized program to increase effectiveness of railway transportation through the deployment of a GSM-R network. The company has 850 employees in Hungary.
Besides infrastructural development, Nokia Siemens Networks has a significant R&D capacity in Budapest, serving global markets by researching appliances and networks, and developing the most successful telecommunication product, the mobile switch center of the company. (BBJ Online)
