Nokia Siemens wins 3G network deal in Britain

Nokia Siemens Networks said on Wednesday it had won a third generation (3G) radio network and integration order from British Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), but did not disclose the value of the deal.

Nokia Siemens said that in addition to 3G radio gear, it would also provide project management, network deployment and other services.

MBNL is a 50-50 joint venture formed at the beginning of 2008 between 3 and T-Mobile UK to supervise the creation and operation of joint network in Britain on behalf of both companies. (Reuters)
