Two units of troubled Civis Hotels failed to attract any offers when they were put on the block again, liquidator Imre Buga told MTI on Tuesday.
No parties declared interest in buying the Aranybika (Golden Bull), a landmark in the center of Debrecen, and the Best Western Hotel Kálvin, another hotel in the same city, by the March 16 deadline, Buga said.
The liquidator will decide together with Civis Hotels' creditors on the price at which the hotels will be offered in the future, he said. He would not exclude the possibility they could be offered for a lower price.
The Aranybika was offered for HUF 1.9 billion and the Best Western Hotel Kalvin for HUF 480 million.
A third hotel earlier owned by Civis Hotels in the spa town of Hajdúszoboszló was offered for HUF 1.25 billion but sold last December for HUF 800 million.
