New contender dials in to VoIP market

ISP Externet Kft announced yesterday that it has launched low-rate VoIP services for retail and corporate customers.

The service, named Megafone, allows private costumers to make PC-to-landline calls anywhere in the world, while corporate clients can access Externet's VoIP network through regular phones. Externet said it hopes to carve out a 3%-5% slice of the local VoIP market in the next two years.
