Advenio and a consortium led by Est Media Group (EMG) have won concessions to operate Hungary's two country-wide commercial radio frequencies.
The concessions are for seven years, starting from November 19.
The frequencies now used by Sláger and Danubius radio stations, and there were three new applicants for the tender: Advenio, Juventus Rádió Zrt and the FM1 consortium.
Chairman László Majtényi on Tuesday still held on to convince the commission about excluding some of the candidates from the radio frequency tender. He declared at a press event that Advenio is one of them showing formal irregularities while other applicants did not show up with proper business plans. Majtényi said if the applicants in question were not excluded it would threaten the radio business as a whole.
