The number of new cars sold in Hungary rose 0.5% to 3,481 in November from the same month a year earlier, fresh data from Hungary's Central Office for Administrative and Electronic Public Services (KEKKH) show.
New car sales reached 39,572 in January-November, down 30% from the same period a year earlier. There were 55,879 cars sold in Hungary in 2009.
Ford was market leader in January-November, selling 4,683 vehicles to give it 11.8% market share. Skoda's market share nearly doubled to 10.2%. Opel had 10% market share, as did Volkswagen. Suzuki's market share was halved to 5.45%. (MTI-ECONEWS)
