Esztergom-based Neuzer has won a tender to deliver 4,800 bicycles to state-owned postal company Magyar Posta with a bid of net HUF 369 million.
The price works out to HUF 64,000-86,000 per bicycle, depending on specifications. The bicycles are to be delivered by the end of November.
The contract for the bicycles is expected to be signed on July 20.
Neuzer beat Accel Hungaria, Schwinn Csepel and Italcamion in the tender.
The tender was only for the delivery of bicycles. Magyar Posta broke its contract with the winner of an earlier tender for both bicycles and servicing after the supplier could not deliver the bicycles. (MTI-ECONEWS)
