Hungarian bus maker NABI could resume production of buses at the company’s plant in Kaposvar (SW Hungary) as early as March in order to fill orders from the city of Los Angeles, the daily newspaper Magyar Nemzet reported on Saturday, citing NABI CEO Ferenc Levai.
The order will keep the plant operating until the end of 2012.
Mr Levai told the newspaper that NABI would hire 100 workers manufacture buses for the US city at the plant, which suspended operations early last year.
