MVM OVIT, a unit of the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM), has won a contract to deliver about 4,000 tonnes of steel structures to German utilities giant E.ON this year. E.ON started negotiations with 13 potential partners on the deliveries of steel structures for this year. After evaluating the offers, E.ON picked MVM OVIT to deliver about half of the structures. MVM OVIT has capacity to make 12,000-15,000 tonnes of steel structures a year at its base on the outskirts of Budapest.
