Musashi to expand Hungarian plant

Japanese car parts maker Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co. will spend €1.3 million on increasing production at its Hungarian plant, business daily Világgazdaság
reported. Based in Ercsi, central Hungary, Musashi Hungary Kft will double its output of ball joints to 600,000 after orders from German carmaker Audi AG rose, Világgazdaság said, citing the unit's managing director, Krisztina Gulyás.
Musashi Hungary also plans to add 50 jobs to its current workforce of 300. The company will complete the expansion by the end of this year. Musashi Hungary increased sales to €35 million last year from €28 million a year earlier, and expects sales to rise to €38 million this year.
