MOL signs share sale, option deal with UniCredit

Budapest bourse listed oil and gas group MOL  said it signed an agreement to sell its shares to UniCredit SpA and acquired an option to buy them back. As a result of the transaction, UniCredit owns a total number of 2.9 million MOL shares, the oil company said in a statement. Under the agreement, MOL has a call option and UniCredit a put option for the shares. Both options mature in one year, subject to annual extensions with one year, up to a maximum total tenor of three years, MOL said. The strike price for both the call and the put options is €85.77234 per share, according to the statement. Following the transaction, MOL had 4.5 million Treasury shares.
