Oil and gas company MOL was Hungary's biggest company last year, rankings based on revenue by business weeklies Figyelő and HVG show.
The Hungarian unit of German carmaker Audi was runner-up on the lists. The local unit of Finnish handset maker Nokia was in third place.
The top three were followed by the Hungarian units of General Electric, Samsung and Philips.
In terms of profit, HVG's TOP 500 list was headed by Corning Hungary Data Processing, with after-tax profit of HUF 297bn. Audi Hungary was runner-up with HUF 165bn and GE Hungary was in third place with HUF 162bn. OTP Bank was in fourth place with after-tax profit of HUF 118bn and MOL was in fifth with HUF 109bn.
