Hungarian oil and gas company MOL has made an offer to buy out a stake held by Russia's Surgutneftegas in MOL, the Russian economic paper Vedomosti reported on Thursday.
The issue now is being discussed by the two governments affected, the paper said, citing sources close to MOL and the Russian energy ministry.
Surgutneftegas bought 21.11% stake in MOL from Austrian state oil company OMV for €1.4 billion last spring. (MTI-Econews)
